My Reletive s home- in A highend large sprawling Colony is surrounded ( outside) by - Bangladeshi/Rohingayas ( hutments)! Now they have entered the Colony, working as-Vegetable/phal vendor,, supplies ( water jars), Rickshaw valah, drivers,even maid servants in homes etc 😮! Seems like - taken over completely! 😮

Equality as per constitution applies only to our citizens (all faiths). Its the discretion of the govt on how to proceed with granting Citizenship for 'Non-Indians'. Constitution do not provide equality etc to non-Indians. No country in the world provides equality or their constitutional guarantees to people who are not their Citizens while applying for Citizenship.

WHY THE OPPOSITION IS WRONG ABOUT THE CAA
1. Opponents say that the CAA makes religion the basis of granting citizenship, which they say is against Article 15 of the Constitution. Article 15 only applies to citizens and states that no citizen of India can be discriminated against - it does not apply to migrants who are not citizens of India. Citizenship by birth is different from citizenship by nationalization. The latter has always been considered an act by the grace of a country. It is clear that giving citizenship to only non-Muslims and not Muslim migrants does not violate the country’s constitution.
2. Opponents say that the CAA states that every Muslim citizen of India should prove his citizenship. That is nonsense, as there is no such draft rule. The CAA is only applicable to migrants, not citizens.
3. Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh are Islamic Republics where minority rights are not recognized and minorities are persecuted. So, it is a valid reason for India to offer these oppressed minorities citizenship as there is a common bond, and they have no other country to go to.
4. If the CAA extends to Muslims, any Muslim in Pakistan or Afghanistan can say he is discriminated against and can move to India and claim citizenship. This could theoretically include a significant number of ISI spies, ISIS, and Taliban terrorists.
5. Some say that CAA should have taken in Muslim communities like the Ahmadiyyas who are discriminated against in Pakistan. There are between 2 and 5 million Ahmadiyyas in Pakistan, so should India take them all in? So, should CAA then be extended to take in all discriminated people from around the world?
